After touring a good handful of assisted living facilities, our family chose Jurney’s for several reasons. The staff was so warm and inviting, and happily answered any questions we had. The entire facility was well maintained and offered a home-like environment that far surpassed the other places we toured. Mom has been here for almost 6 months now and has transitioned into her new home beautifully. She has even made a few new friends and has become close with many of the staff. Our family is sincerely thankful that we found Jurney’s for Mom.

As a resident of Jurney’s, I felt it important to share my experience here. I was hesitant about leaving my home to enter a facility, but a year later, I am so glad I did. The staff here is simply amazing. They have always been available when I was feeling down or homesick and have been a Godsend in helping me with daily activities that I had a hard time admitting I could no longer safely do on my own. I feel more at home here than I ever would have expected. I’m even more active now than when I was home on my own!

3 years ago, it became apparent Dad could no longer safely live at home alone. Although he was still mobile and able to do some things on his own, we noticed he was having a hard time taking care of his home and had begun to forget really important things like taking his medication as prescribed. Jurney’s was the only facility we toured because we were comforted about our decision the minute we walked through the door. The residents all seemed so happy and content. Inside and out, Jurney’s was well maintained and felt more like a community than a facility. He’s happy and thriving here, and we can’t thank the staff enough.

My sister and I would like to give a special thanks to the staff and the administration of Jurney's Assisted Living in Statesville. They have taken great care to protect their residents during this difficult time of COVID-19. We moved our mother there five months ago from another facility, and she has acclimated very well. The staff has been very kind and has assisted her whenever needed. They have a healthcare group that can check on mom if required, and all her medicines are delivered through a pharmacy which really is a nice feature for us. She has a very nice room that was furnished, and we were allowed to take in some of her pieces. Andrew Martin is always open to suggestions and works very hard to make sure the facility is running the way it should. We appreciate all they do for the residents and recommend this facility.

My mother has been a resident of your facility since May of 2016. Prior to this, she lived in a senior apartment complex in Statesville. I am the eldest son, and it became apparent to me in early 2016 that she needed assisted living. I was a senior Executive at Carolinas HealthCare System at the time, having run hospitals and hospital systems all of my career. I toured several facilities but soon decided on Jurney’s. Your staff had an amazing work ethic which continues to this day. The residents are treated professionally, your services including dietary services, laundry, environmental services, business office, nursing are all of the highest quality. My Mother enjoys her days at this fine facility, and I have enjoyed getting to know your great staff over the years. I and my two younger brothers could not be more pleased with the quality of my Mom’s life due to your organization’s focus on high quality and service. My middle brother is a Physician Assistant, and both of us are very pleased with the healthcare received by our Mother.
